The hustle and bustle of Dublin City Centre can be a stressful place to bring a young child. We have put together a list of our top five baby friendly places in Dublin that will help you enjoy a day out with the family.

Dublin Zoo

One of Ireland’s best tourist attractions, Dublin Zoo is a fun filled day out for the whole family, located in Phoenix Park in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre. The 28 hectare park is home to some 400 animals, playgrounds, picnic areas and restaurants.

Tesco currently offer deals to exchange club card vouchers for Dublin Zoo admission passes, please log on here for details.

Jervis Shopping Centre

One of our favourite places to visit in town, excellent baby changing facilities. I liked the way Jervis has a seperate baby changing facility, but also has areas in the ladies, with toilets inside very handy when your alone in town and need to go the loo.

Top Tip

Forever 21 has a lift in store which connects to both levels of the shopping centre, it saves time if you are in a rush to get to level 2 to go the toilets.

Kay’s Kitchen

Great spot for some lunch and they offer a very generous baby bowl for children priced at €2.90. Staff are very helpful and carry your tray down to table.Kay’s Kitchen has a relaxing atmosphere with lovely views over seeing Dublin.

South Dublin County Council Library

The library is brilliant for familes as they offer Free events throughout the year for children and adults alike. I particularly like the bouncy baby club and story time for children as it’s a great way to introduce your baby to reading through the art of song.
