I’m planning my first visit back to the hair salon later this month after securing an appointment with my local stylist. My hair is in need of some TLC, as it’s been a long five months since I’ve had it professionally cut.

Since the lockdown, we have all adapted our way of life to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. So inevitably the first visit back to the hairdressers will be a different experience than before.

Hair salons are expected to open later next week on May 10th. There will be no walk-in appointments available. Customers will be asked to ring ahead or book online to find a time and date to visit.

So what has changed and what do I need to prepare for?
