We are just back from an overnight stay in the fabulous Conrad Dublin. This beautiful 5 star hotel is located just across the road from The National Concert Hall and is close to all tourist attractions including St Stephen’s Green and Grafton Street.
The newly refurbished hotel is one of the most comfortable hotels we stayed in to-date, there is a nice balance of having the hustle and bustle of Dublin City on your doorstep and the quiet amenities of the hotel.
The rooms are nicely equipped and it’s so lovely to be able to come back to a Junior suite room to relax and to indulge in some 5 star luxury treats, including complimentary Butler chocolates, bottled water, optional mini bar and access to an Ice machine.
I really loved the toiletries in the bathroom, everything was covered including mini bottles of mouthwash, toothbrushes, combs and vanity kits, which was a nice touch.
We dined in The Coburg Restaurant and booked dinner for 7pm. We were immediately greeted by staff and given a choice of tables to choose from.
We went with a starter of oysters between us which consisted of a dozen fresh oysters, served with mignonette, Tabasco and lemon.
Top Tip – If it’s your first time to taste oysters we recommend ordering a couple first as you can always get more.

The Coburg 5 Star Customer Service
We received 5 star customer service in The Coburg, staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were always on hand to offer advice and recommendations when required.
I really liked how staff offered us a complimentary glass of Henriot Brut Souverain champagne as we decided what to order for dinner.
Lemuel’s Bar and Lounge
After dinner we enjoyed a few cocktails in the super chic Lemuel’s Bar and Lounge.
Lemuel’s is named after the famous fictional traveler Lemuel Gulliver from the classic book series Gulliver’s Travel. For further information on Lemuel’s Bar check out our feature here.
